Griezmann paves the way for France's comeback against Croatia

Tuesday, 7 September

10.50pm: Lenglet played the full 90 minutes for France, with Griezmann scoring a goal and playing for 78 minutes in France's 4-2 win over Croatia. Martin Braithwaite played 82 minutes in the scoreless draw between Denmark and England, whilst Semedo and Trincão didn't play a minute in the Sweden v Portugal game (0-2).

9:30pm: Griezmann scores the first goal for the French team, equalising Croatia's opener (1-1, min 43).

8.15pm: Griezmann and Lenglet start for France against Croatia. As for Portugal, Semedo and Trincão will have to wait for their opportunity from the bench in the match against Sweden. Finally, Braithwaite starts for Denmark in their key match against England.

10.00am: Today brings the last set of Nations League fixtures for this international break, and three of nine games have potential Barça interest, all kicking off at 8.45pm CEST.

Lenglet and Griezmann's France play Croatia, Semedo and Trincao's Portugal are playing Sweden, both sides having won their opening fixtures, while Braithwaite's Denmark need to get something out of their game with England to stay in contention after losing to Belgium in their first game.

Monday, 7 September

10:40pm: Frenkie de Jong played all 90 minutes of the Netherlands' home defeat against Italy. A goal from Barella just before the break gave the azzurri victory and leaves the Dutch a point behind leaders Italy in group 1 of League A. 

10:35pm: An Albanian side containing Barça B striker Rei Manaj lost in the second round of matches in League C against Lithuania. The FC Barcelona forward played all 90 minutes. 

10.00am: This Monday, Frenkie de Jong's Holland face Italy, while Barça B player Rei Manaj's Albania will play Lithuania. Both Nations League matches will start at 8.45pm.

Sunday, 6 September

10.45pm: The Spanish team win 4-0 with Ansu Fati playing the full 90 minutes.

9.20pm: Ansu Fati has scored the third goal against Ukraine and becomes the youngest ever scorer in the Spanish national team at 17 years and 311 days.

8.15pm: Ansu Fati starts in the Spain v Ukraine game, whilst Sergio Busquets starts on the bench.

10.00am: This Sunday the Spanish team, with Sergio and Ansu Fati, will host Ukraine (8.45pm) on the second matchday of the Nations League.

Saturday, 5 September

10.50pm: France beat Sweden 0-1, with Griezmann playing the full 90 minutes. The Barça player was unable to convert a penalty in added time. Lenglet was an unused sub. Trincão, on his debut, played the last 12 minutes of Portugal's victory against Croatia (4-1) in which Semedo was an unused sub. Finally, Braithwaite played 72 minutes in the Denmark v Belgium game (0-2).

8.15pm: Griezmann, a starter in Sweden-France. Lenglet will have to wait for his opportunity from the bench. As for Portugal, Semedo and Trincão start the game as substitutes against Croatia. Finally, Braithwaite starts against Belgium.

10.00am: There are three games with potential FC Barcelona interest today, and all three kick-off at 8.45pm CEST.

Antoine Griezmann and Clément Lenglet are in the French team that openes thir UEFA Nations League campaign against against Sweden.
In the same competition, Semedo and Trincão's Portugal entertain Croatia at the Do Dragao Stadium, and Martin Braithwaite's Denmark are at home to Belgium.

Friday, 4 September

10.45pm: Holland 1 - Poland 0. De Jong played all 92 minutes as the Dutch got off to a winning start in the UEFA Nations League 2020/21. The game at the Johan Cruyff Arena was decided by a Steven Bergwijn goalon 61 minutes, the assist coming from De Jong himself. 

Rei Manaj of Barça B also got a win tonight playing for Albania in a 2-0 win in Belarus. He also played almost the full 90 minutes, being substituted right at the end of the game.

10.00am: Two more of our players are in action today. Frenkie de Jong is in the Holland squad that hosts Poland and Barça B's Rey Manaj is in Belarus representing Albania.

Thursday, 3 September

10.45pm: A Gayá goal in injury time earns Spain a 1-1 draw in Germany. Ansu Fati impressed in his first ever appearance for La Roja, and had a goal disallowesd. Sergio Busquets was on for the first 56 minutes.


9.45pm: Ansu Fati comes on for Jesús Navas to make his senior debut for Spain. Aged just 17 years and 308 days, he becomes the second youngest player ever to appear for the team.

8.45pm: Sergio Busquets starts for Spain in Germany. Ansu Fati is on the bench...

8.45pm: All over In Macedonia. A penalty from Hugo Duro on 82 minutes secures three vital points from a tricky away tie that leaves Spain almost certain of a place at the U21 European Championships. Miranda and Riqui Puig played the full ninety minutes, while Carles Aleñà was substituted after 55. THere was even further Barça B interest when Pedri came on for the last 20 minutes.

6.11pm: Riqui Puig, Aleñá and Miranda are all starting for Spain U21 away to Macedonia. That means that Puig will be making his debut for the U21 side today. Well done to him!

12.30pm: Griezmann and Lenglet continue to prepare with France, who will face Sweden this Saturday.

10.00am: The first international matches with Barça representation will be this Thursday. Sergio Busquets and Ansu Fati are with the senior Spanish national team, whilst Riqui Puig, Pedri, Aleñá, Iñaki Peña and Miranda are with the Spanish U21 team. This is the agenda:

  • Macedonia-Spaina U21 (8.45pm) - U21 European Championship qualification
