Back to work with an eye on Matchday 2

Following two days off, the FC Barcelona squad returned to training on Monday afternoon at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Ernesto Valverde had all of his available first team players in attendance, as well as Barça B's Iñaki Peña, Ludovit Reis and Carles Pérez. It was Reis' first time with the senior squad since arriving from Dutch side Groningen in the summer transfer market.

Luis Suárez began his recovery process from his calf muscle injury, suffered in the Friday defeat to Athletic Club. Leo Messi continued his own recovery work at the Ciutat Esportiva.

A morning session awaits the players on Tuesday, with a double session on Wednesday.
