FC Barcelona and Defensor Sporting Club have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Patricio Pacifico until the end of the season. The agreement includes an option for a permanent transfer at the end of the season. The Uruguayan defender joins Barça Atlètic for the second half of the season. 

Left footed and versatile 

Born in Montevideo on 8 April 2006, Patricio Pacifico is a left footed defender who can play at full back or at centre back. At 187cm tall he is excellent in the air and strong in the tackle as well as having the technique to bring the ball out from the back. 

Barça Atlètic's new defender is a regular in the Uruguayan U20 side after featuring for the U17 team previously. He has made 37 appearances in the Uruguayan league, as well as appearances in the Cup and in the U20 Copa Libertadores. 

The player has passed his medical at the Club and visited the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and the Estadi Johan Cruyff, and in the coming days he will begin training with his new team mates.
