CE Sabadell 0–1 Barça Atlètic: Determination wins through

It's never easy to win at the Nova Creu Alta, but Barça Atlètic did just that thanks to a Unai Hernández goal and some top work between the sticks by Astralaga, making it four games now without defeat for the reserves. 

Sabadell concentrated on defending and counter attacking, so Barça got to dictate most of the game, but to no avail in a goalless first half, with Ortolá defending the home nets with remarkable efficiency.

The home side upped their game after the break, and this was when Astralaga came into his own, with a spectacular save to deny former Barça man Mbacke and then another brilliant intervention in a one-on-one against Soto.

Those threats seemed to generate greater urgency in the blaugrana ranks, and the goal finally came from a fine move involving Aleix Garrido and Unai Hernández.

Sabadell were left to rue their wasted chances and will be having nightmares about Astralaga tonight, who again rescued his side in the final stages of the game to ensure Sabadell's first defeat of 2024.
