Official Barça Atlètic team photo with president Laporta

A special morning for Barça Atlétic today. Estadi Johan Cruyff formed the backdrop for a photo session for the youth team including the traditional official photo for the 2022/23 season.

President Joan Laporta joined the entire Barça Atlétic squad (apart from Román Vega who was called up to represent Argentina at the Under-20 World Cup), coach Rafa Márquez and every member of staff. They were also joined by the Barça Atlétic president, Jordi Casals, the director responsible for youth football, Joan Soler, the youth football general manager, José Ramon Alexanco, and the youth football coordinator, Toni Hernández.

Once the photo session was complete, Barça Atlétic trained on pitch 3 at the Ciutat Esportiva as preparations continue for this Saturday's game against La Nucía (kick off 7:30pm CEST). There are only two more matchdays left in this Primera Federación Liga season and the youth side are currently sitting fourth in the table in the playoff positions. In fact, they only need one point from the remaining six available to confirm their position in the playoffs. Saturday sees the first opportunity to do so, as they visit a tough opponent in La Nucía, who are currently fighting against relegation.
