Andorra 1-0 Barça B: First defeat of the season

No shortage of chances, but the goal wouldn't come under the Pyrenean rain

Barça B have lost 1-0 in Andorra in a game decided by a Carlos Martínez strike after 24 minutes, and where Iñaki Peña’s brilliance in goal avoided any further damage.

That’s not to say Barça B didn’t have plenty of chances to score themselves. One of those came when Jandro hit the bar early on in the torrential Andorran rain.

After the home side had taken the lead, young Ilias almost scored on the day of his debut, and Zeballos was denied by an incredible save from Ratti.

Following the break Manaj and Ramos Mingo both came very close to an equaliser, and with Peña working his magic in goal, there was hope right up until the end that the reserves were going to at least avoid their first league defeat of the season.

But every effort was in vain, and the game ended 1-0.
