Today, the first meeting of the Board of Directors was held since the elections on March 15, marking the beginning of this new era of governance at the club. The meeting was led by the president, Rafael Yuste, and was attended by all members of the current board: Josep Cubells i Ribé, Alfons Castro i Sousa, Josep Ignasi Macià i Gou, Àngel Riudalbas i Codina, Joan Solé i Sust and Sisco Pujol i Sabaté.
The main current issues facing the club were addressed, including work on drafting the budget for the upcoming season and closing the current 2025/26 financial year, planning the men’s first team’s pre-season, the situation across the different sections, and the status of sponsorship agreements currently under negotiation
One of the highlights of the meeting was the confirmation of sustained growth in the club’s membership. The club has surpassed 150,000 members (150,077 to be precise), a very positive indicator of the club’s vitality, the commitment of its fan base, and the confidence that the project inspires among supporters.
The Board agreed on the importance of this figure, viewing it as motivation to continue working with responsibility and transparency, and with the aim of further strengthening the bond with all members.
