For the Champions League round of 16 second-leg match that FC Barcelona will play against Newcastle at Spotify Camp Nou on Wednesday, March 18 (18:45), the Club, as in all matches classified as high-risk, will adopt the necessary security measures to guarantee the safety of all members, fans, and local and visiting supporters. In this way, it will also implement control measures in ticket sales, especially regarding the sale of seats and the presence in the Stadium of attendees from the rival team outside the area designated for their fans. The purpose of the measures implemented is to guarantee maximum safety for all spectators.

For this reason, a call is made to all rival team fans, in this case Newcastle supporters without tickets, to avoid traveling to Spotify Camp Nou, as no ticket sales points will be available. Only those with a ticket managed by their Club in the area reserved for visiting supporters will be allowed to enter the Stadium.

It should be noted that the Club stopped ticket sales for this match from Friday after detecting the current situation, aiming to prevent a repeat of incidents like those that occurred in 2022. During these days, the protocol and necessary measures have been finalized, and once defined, the sale of any remaining tickets will be reactivated tomorrow from 11:00.

The measures established, which are part of the usual protocol for matches declared high-risk by the Anti-Violence Commission, are as follows:

·  Tickets are nominal.

·  Activities from the rival supporters in the local fan area are not allowed.

·  Sales in the rival supporters’ country of origin have been blocked by IP addresses and country-based bank cards.

·  Website communication during the sale period includes a message indicating that sales are only for FC Barcelona members.

·  Rival team clothing and symbols are only allowed in the seating area designated for visiting fans and in exchange seats.

·  Visiting fan access will be through gate L (previously K) if the corresponding license in Phase 1C is already held. In this case, gate K will be reserved for local fans. If the license is not held, gate K will remain the access for visiting supporters.

·  Official identification documents must be available to access the Stadium (ticket and passport or ID) to be shown if requested.

·  Gate K is enabled exclusively for visiting supporters.

·  There is no ticket sales at Spotify Camp Nou box offices.

·  Tour operators have limited ticket sales.

The Club asks spectators to arrive well in advance of the match and have all documentation ready to show if requested by any Club or security personnel at the entrances. Likewise, it is reminded that the reinforced security measures applied effectively in the last match against Eintracht Frankfurt will remain in place and, given the exceptional nature of this match, will be re-implemented:

· Increased security personnel at each access point and in the stands to manage incidents and, if necessary, carry out expulsions.

· Nominal and visual control of attendees with Newcastle symbols or clothing to rule out indications of illegal ticket acquisition.

· Coordination with Newcastle, the Urban Guard, and the Mossos d’Esquadra to prevent rival fans from accessing areas around Spotify Camp Nou, discouraging ticket resale.

· Daily analysis of sales to identify possible fraudulent patterns, taking necessary measures to prevent any security breach for our fans.

Within this set of measures, it is also reminded that, for all fans with a pass, ticket transfers will be blocked. The member who has already transferred the ticket will receive the transfer responsibility form, and without this confirmation, the requested transfer will not be considered valid.

Regarding ticket sales, all buyers must have entered the nominal information for the tickets at least 48 hours before the match begins. Otherwise, the ticket will not be sent, and access to the Stadium will not be allowed.

Finally, to reinforce:

· If the traceability of the purchase and final destination of tickets reveals fraudulent activity, this will be referred to the Disciplinary Commission to take the corresponding measures against the responsible persons.
