Ciutat Esportiva hosts Barça Academy Training Camp

President Joan Laporta, Rafael Yuste, Deco, Benny Megreli, Enric Masip, Bojan Krkic, Sergi Barjuan and first team star Vitor Roque were there to greet the players from sixteen Barça Academies del Barça (Amman, Arizona, Budapest, Mexico City, Dubai, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Istanbul, Katsushika, Miami, Nara, New York, Santo Domingo, Singapore, Yokohama, Zurich and Italy) who have been at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on a training camp. It was a chance for everyone to get photos as a memento of a wonderful experience for all involved.

The young footballers are benefitting from the instruction of coaches from Barça Academy Barcelona, and were especially chosen because of their skill and potential, while the event has also offered an opportunity for the coaches from the different academies to learn from their peers who work day in day out with the young talent in the Barça youth structure, forging the blaugrana stars of the future. 

Practice matches

As well as training on the top quality facilities, the visitors have played practice matches against some of the Barça youth teams, a wonderful chance for them to measure their progress against fellow players of a similar age who are already part of the Barça set-up.

As well as training, they are also getting to enjoy such experiences as visiting the Barça Megastore, and taking the Barça Immersive Tour to get a first-hand view of the history of one of the finest football clubs in the world. 

Montjuïc match

The youngsters, as well as their coaches, also got to see and support the FC Barcelona first team playing their game against Villarreal at the Estadi Olimpic Lluís Companys.
