Champions to the fore in edition number 116 of the REVISTA BARÇA

The league titles claimed by the men's and women's football team and above all the Women's Champions League victory in Eindohoven are the lead stories in the new edition of the Revista Barça, the magazine for members

Edition number 116 of the REVISTA BARÇA opens with the story of the Women's Champions League victory by FC Barcelona in that emotional and exhilarating final against Wolfsburg in the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven. The player of the match was Patri Guijarro, scorer of two goals in the final which kickstarted Barça Women's comeback, and she explain in the first person her experience of one of the most important days of her career. 

There is also a look at the La Liga title claimed by the men's team with four games to spare and the women's league title win, their fourth in a row. Xavi Hernández's team recorded league championship number 27 for the Club, a season they dominated from start to finish with Lewandowski top scorer on 23 goals and Marc-André ter Stegen winning the Zamora Trophy after conceding just 18 goals over the league season. 

Expert analysis 

The German goalkeeper is the subject of a tactical analysis by Àlex Delmàs. Ter Stegen was back to his best in 2022/23 and he is one of the focuses of the latest edition of the magazine as are Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, the two Barça captains set to leave the club after brilliant, trophy laden careers as blaugranes. A look back in time sees the 40 year anniversary of the season in which Diego Armando Maradona lead Barça to the Copa del Rey and the Copa de la Liga, beating Real Madrid in both finals. Representation from the other professional sports comes in the form of Àlex Abrines, Isaac Fernández, Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas, Carlos Ortiz and Aitor Egurrola. Barça Legends and the Barça Genuine Foundation are featured due to their recent trips to Zambia and Croatia and the Netherlands respectively. 

The final pages of the REVISTA BARÇA are dedicated to texts on the European Month of Diversity, the 10th anniversary of the Barça Academy World, the club's social media success and that of the FC Barcelona website, winner of the People's Voice Award, as well as reaching 15 million subscribers on YouTube.
