86% success rate at home over the season

86% success rate at home over the season

Spotify Camp Nou, the Palau and the Estadi Johan Cruyff have been key to the blaugrana teams' form in 2022/23

Very few teams have been capable of beating Barça at home this season, now matter what the sport. All the professional sections have recorded a tremendous campaign at their respective home venues, helping them to trophies, or the possibility of silverware still in 2022/23.

Spotify Camp Nou, a fortress

Barça have based their league title winning campaign on their strength at home in the Spotify Camp Nou. If we look at games in the stadium for the men's first team we can see that Xavi's side won 15 of 19 matches, conceding just three draws and losing just once to Real Sociedad when they were already champions. That is to say, a 79% success rate at home in the league compared to 63% last season and 58% the season before.

The record for home wins was set at 18 in the season 20009/10 and 2012/13, a figure of 95%, and the blaugranes have won at least 10 games at Spotify Camp Nou in the league campaign since the 2003/04 season.

Home form in basketball, roller hockey and women's football

Not only Spotify Camp Nou has seen excellent results in home matches this season. In the Estadi Johan Cruyff Barça Women managed a full house of 15 wins in 15 matches in their league title winning campaign.

The basketball team coached by Saras Jasikevicius won 17 from 17 also in the regular season in the league, completing a 100% record for the fourth time in their history. Carlos Ortega's handball side won 15 of 15 for their 100% record in the Palau Blaugrana as they added another league title to their collection of silverware. Finally, the roller hockey side won 13 of 13 in the regular season on their way to the play offs where they are still in with a chance of claiming the league title.

Barça Atlètic and futsal side also strong at home

Whilst not matching the figure of their fellow professional side, Barça Atlètic and the Barça futsal team both had solid league seasons at home. Jesús Velasco's futsal side have won 10 of their 15 home games in the last two seasons in the Palau Blaugrana whilst Rafa Márquez's team in 2022/23 have improved on last season's figures with a 63% success rate after winning 12 of their 19 home games at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
