FC Barcelona to support La Marató with game against Rosengard at Spotify Camp Nou

Club to donate one euro to the telethon for every ticket sold for the UWCL game on December 21

FC Barcelona is supporting La Marató, the charity telethon run annually by TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio, which is into is 31st year and is raising funds for research into cardiovascular disease. It will be doing so donating one euro for every ticket sold for the UEFA Women's Champions League game with Rosengrad at Spotify Camp Nou on December 21.

Cardiovascular disease is the biggest cause of death in developed countries, according the World Health Organisation causing 18 million deaths in2019, 32% of all deaths in the world. Its chronic nature also affects the quality of living of patients, generates dependence, entails a risk of complications and in turn raises healthcare costs. All of that makes it one of the biggest health issues in the world right now.

Tickets on sale

Tickets, which will bear the name of the purchaser, go on sale next Monday 28 November at 11pm CET via the club website. Tickets are free for Barça members, but they can make a symbolic €1 donation to the cause in addition to the handling fee. Members may purchase up to four tickets each. 40,000 tickets are being made available to members under these conditions.

For other fans, the cost of tickets varies between €10 and €23, including the euro that will be donated to La Marató.

However, fans can buy tickets at half-price for the game with Rosengard of they make use of the special Cyber Monday offer. The discount will be available buying from three to six tickets. 

Fans who already bought tickets for the game with Bayern Munich will also get a 50% on tickets for this second match, which will become available at noon on November 29, adding the locator to your purchase as a promotional code. This option will be available until the day of the game or until stocks run out.

Spotify Camp Nou season tickets and children's passports are not valid for this game. Cheaper tickets for children will not be available either.

Women's team at Spotify Camp Nou

This is the second time the women's team will have played at Spotify Camp Nou this season after beating Bayern Munich 3-0 in the stadium on Thursday 24 November. The attendance of 46,967 was the biggest ever for a UWCL group stage match.

Last season, Barça used the stadium for the quarter final against Real Madrid and the semi-finals against Wolfsburg, on both occasions breaking the world record attendance for a women's football match. In January 2021, they played Espanyol in the first ever game in the stadium, but there were no fans at that game due to Covid-19.
