Seventh official Barça Store opens opposite Sagrada Família

Club continues advancing its retail business by inaugurating this outlet that it manages 100% and which even includes a Barça history museum

FC Barcelona is taking a new step forward in expanding its retail business by opening a new store that is 100% managed by the club. The Barça Store & Exhibition Sagrada Família opens this Saturday 2 July in a privileged location in front of the Sagrada Família and one of its most standout features is a thematic exhibition space dedicated to Barça history. 

It has a total of 415m2 divided over two floors, and offers a 100% Barça experience while enjoying views of the neighbouring temple. The establishment is part of a new format for Barça stores in which the museum forms an integral part of the visit, providing a brand new perspective on the club.

This is the seventh official store managed 100% by Barça, following on from those at Camp Nou, Canaletes, Passeig de Gràcia, La Roca Village, Viladecans Style Outlet and Barcelona airport T1 and T2.

Barça museum next to Sagrada Família

By combining an exhibition area and characteristic elements related to the history of the club, the idea is to offer a new visitor experience, making them feel part of the culer spirit and tradition. The thematic exhibitions will be changed on a regular basis and entry is totally free. After enjoying the tour, fans will be able to purchase souvenirs from the official Barça Store located at the same site.

Visitors to the Barça Store & Exhibition Sagrada Família will be able to find the new 2022/23 Barça home kit, training uniforms and also exclusive 100% Barça collections that are only available at outlets managed directly by the club. These include capsule collections such as 'Color Block', inspired by Brooklyn urban art combined with a retro touch, 'Tape', inspired by the English sport aesthetic of the 90s and other collections such as the 'Organic Cotton Collection' for women and children and the 'Gallina de Piel' collection.

Consolidated focus on retail

With this latest addition, FC Barcelona is gaining control and direct operation and management of a new store, thus taking a new step toward consolidating its retail plan through the direct exploitation of its products and expanding its sales network through BLM, which currently manages the club’s licensing and merchandising. This company took over the management of these areas on 1 July 2018, after 16 years in which all references to Barça's licensed official products were exploited by FCB-Merchandising, a company 100% owned by Nike, in exchange for a percentage of profits.

This strategy includes the creation of a network of official outlets managed by FC Barcelona, with ​​the Canaletes store being the flagship establishment and the second largest in terms of surface area, behind the store at Camp Nou.
