Barça will participate in the RLCS 2021-22

The Club will continue this season in the top European competition of Rocket League with a brand new team

FC Barcelona, through its esports division, has signed one of the most promising Rocket League teams to participate in the next Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22. The team is formed by Cristian "CRR" Fernández, Iván "Dorito" Ruiz and Samuel "Zamué" Cortés and coached by Brandon "Braan" Porto.

The new members of the club will represent FC Barcelona in all official competitions this season after achieving outstanding results during the third split of the previous season.

A top 8 in the first regional and a top 4 in the second, along with having qualified for the Major of that split, are the credentials of a very young and growing team with the incorporation this season of Zamué, a more experienced player with a great trajectory.

The Club returns to the competitive scene of Rocket League, an esport where FC Barcelona has achieved two qualifiers for the Worlds of Newark and Dallas in the seasons RLCS 7 and RLCS 9 respectively.

Bootcamp in Barcelona

The Club's new players, along with their coach, were able to get an up-close look at the Club from September 17-20 during their trip to Barcelona. They visited the main facilities such as Camp Nou or the Club's Museum and had the opportunity to do bootcamp to prepare for the 2021-22 season.
