Tennis star Andrey Rublev visits Camp Nou

The world number seven took part in the Comte de Godó tournament last week in Barcelona and reveals he is a big Barça fan

On Tuesday Camp Nou welcomed a very special visitor: world ranked number seven tennis player Andrey Rublev dropped by to pay a visit to the stadium where he has been on several previous occasions as a fan.

On this occasion there was no football for Rublev to see but that did give him the chance to pose for some great photos with the backdrop of the famous stadium in calm fashion. The Russian tennis player told the Club's official media that he knows Gerard Piqué and that he watches Barça whenever he can, most recently in the victory in the Copa del Rey final for Ronald Koeman's team. During his visit there was also time to meet president Joan Laporta and mark the occasion with a photo

Rublev was in action recently in the Comte de Godó tournament in Barcelona, close to Camp Nou, reaching the quarter finals. The previous week the Russian had reached the final of the prestigious Monte Carlo tournament.
