This Sunday at 9.30pm CEST, FC Barcelona have the first official fixture of the season. It's the Liga opener at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, home of Getafe. There have been many changes to the squad from which Xavi Hernandez can choose from, with several departures, as well as new arrivals, players returning from loan and others from the youth and reserve teams who are knocking on the senior team door.
For today's game he has whittled all those names down to 21, who are the members of his first competitive squad of the new season.
