Roger Grimau

Born in Barcelona in 14 July 1978, Roger Grimau became Barça basketball coach in the summer of 2023 after several seasons as coach and assistant in the Club's youth teams. 

Grimau completes the circle after having spent eight years, from 2003 to 2011, as a player at the Club. At Barça he became captain and lifted a total of 10 trophies: a Euroleague, three Copas de Rey, two Spanish Super Cups and four league titles. After leaving Barça he had spells at Bilbao Basket before retiring at Manresa. 

After ending his playing career he began his coaching career at JAC Sants, the same club at which he started as a player. Between 2018 and 2021 he was assistant coach at Barça Atlètic before becoming head coach in the following two seasons in the EBA league as well as head of the Junior team.
