The Barça basketball team took another win in the ACB League by beating Casademont Zaragoza 92-86 away from home in a game that was decided in the final minutes. The win allows Xavi Pascual's team to keep themselves in the play off places in the domestic competition with 17 wins leaving them in fifth place in the table. 

Kevin Punter's 22 points in the game along with 13 from Shengelia were decisive in the win in the absence of Tomas Satoransky, Vesely and Clyburn.

Good start 

The first quarter started in excellent fashion for Barça with Xavi Pascual's team leading by 11 at one point, their biggest advantage of the contest. Racking up 32 points in the opening period the blaugranes led by seven going into the second quarter. 

A low scoring second period saw Barça extend their lead to 11 points once again, 50-39 up at half time. In the third quarter Zaragoza mounted a comeback and slashed the lead to six thanks to a 15-6 run of points. With just the final quarter to come, the blaugranes led by six at 72-66. However, a great start to the fourth period saw Zaragoza strike back and take the lead at 73-72. 

Barça surged back in front at 86-80 with just minutes left and despite a late scare Xavi Pascual's team closed out the win at 92-86 to take a valuable victory in the domestic league.
