It wasn’t to be. FC Barcelona endured a very difficult night against Emporio Armani Milan, only coming alive in the final quarter. What seemed a comfortable home win nearly turned into a dramatic comeback, but Shengelia missed a last-second three that would have tied the game.

Milan started strongly, attacking quickly and shooting well from both two and three points. Barça struggled to find rhythm, missing several outside shots. Zach LeDay led the Italian side early, while Vesely was Barça’s most effective player in the first quarter as Milan built a 24–17 lead.

The second quarter followed a similar pattern. Barcelona’s turnovers and poor three-point shooting (1/9) allowed Milan to extend their advantage, while Clyburn struggled from distance. The hosts went into halftime firmly ahead 46–34.

Barcelona tried to respond after the break with baskets from Satoransky and Shengelia, but Milan quickly pulled away again. Leday remained dominant, supported by strong performances from Nebo and Bolmaro, and a late three from Brooks pushed the lead to 78–51, a huge +27 entering the final quarter.

Barça finally reacted in the last period with a 0–12 run, sparked by strong defence and fast transitions, with Parra playing a key role. In a dramatic finish, Satoransky hit two late threes to cut the deficit to 86–84 with two seconds remaining. Milan missed one free throw, giving Shengelia a final long-range attempt, but the shot missed.

Barcelona’s late surge came too late, and Milan held on for an 87–84 victory.
