Leyma Coruña 93-92 Barça: Defeat away from home

After exiting the Euroleague against Monaco on Tuesday, the blaugranes suffered a 93-92 defeat against Leyma Coruña away from home. The home side put in a great first half performance and despite a second half comeback the blaugranes were not able to turn things around. 

The defeat leaves Barça in fifth in the table with 18 wins and 12 defeats. 

Chasing the game

Despite being bottom of the table, Leyma Coruña started the game with confidence. The blaugranes were behind early on but Raul Villar helped them to a 27-23 lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second period Barça fell away and the home side side took a 57-45 lead at the break despite 10 points from Jabari Parker. 

In the second half Joan Peñarroya's team came back to level things up at 81-81 with just minutes to go but the home side hung on for the win at 93-92.
