After a poor first period, Barça turned up the heat with an impressive display to secure victory over Río Breogán on Sunday with key contributions from Sarr (21 points), Parker (16), and Parra (15). The win lifts them to seventh place in the table.
Slow start, strong comeback
Barça started sluggishly, allowing the visitors to take an early 10-2 lead. The Galicians excelled from three-point range, hitting 5/6 in just five minutes, closing the first quarter 33-21 ahead.
The second period brought a complete turnaround. Barça tightened things up in defence, forcing Rio Breogán into risky passes and turnovers, conceding only 11 points in the period. Improved ball movement and consistent scoring from Parra, Brizuela, and Parker helped Barça lead 48-44 at the break.
In control
The momentum continued in the third quarter, with strong defence forcing Breogán into rushed possessions. Sarr’s three-pointer extended the lead to 65-53, and Barça entered the final period up 72-59.
Abrines and Satoransky hit early triples, and Sarr capped his stellar performance with back-to-back threes and an alley-oop dunk as Barça cruised to an emphatic 102-79 win on an afternoon that also brought league debuts for both Raul Villar and Keita.
