Fifth win in a row in the Endesa League for the blaugranes as they overcame UCAM Múrcia 97-86 at the Palau Blaugrana to maintain winning form ahead of Wednesday's game 1 in the Euroleague quarter final play off against Olympiacos.
The game at the Palau started in electric fashion with both sides exchanging baskets until the blaugranes scored 7 unanswered points to take the advantage. Nevertheless, UCAM fought back and took a one point lead at the end of the first quarter at 22-21.
In the second period the visitors extended their lead with a 11-3 period. However, this rallied Barça into action and a three pointer from Abrines led to a 17-0 run for the home side.
In the second half the blaugranes continued their excellent performance from the three point line and Abrines, with three in a row, and Ricky Rubio led the way to a 79-68 lead going into the final quarter.
