Fifth win in a row in the Euroleague and 18th this season for the blaugranes following a 93-74 victory over Zalgiris Kaunas in the Palau Blaugrana.
After a slow start, Saras Jaskikevicius' team put in sold performances in the second and third quarters with Mirotic in fine form in the defeat of the Lithuanian side.
A stuttering beginning to the contest was brought to life by a three pointer from Mirotic and a dunk from Vesely after Zalgiris had taken an early lead. Nevertheless, led by the Macedonian Barça turned things around to lead 19-17 at the end of the first quarter.
Mirotić leads by example
A spectacular start to the second quarter saw Barça move into an eight point lead which then became 11 points at one stage. Mirotic was the architect of the home side's 46-36 lead at half time.
The third quarter followed in a similar vein with Laprovittola and Abrines providing able support. The lead over the Lithuanian grew from 13 points to a huge 26 points at one point, the visitors pulling it back to 77-54 at the end of the third period.
In the final quarter Barça pulled their foot off the gas a little but the win was never in any doubt and in the end a 19 point advantage at 93-74 was a fair reflection of what happened on court. The blaugranes' next game is away at Casademont Zaragoza on Saturday 4 March.
