Solid victory in Valencia with the blaugranes taking a 92-80 win over Valencia Basket courtesy of a solid display in defence and an attacking performance which saw 13 three pointers and 21 points from Laprovittola.
Blaugrana precision
The home side started well but a period of 10-2 in favour of Barça lead to the blaugranes leading 23-18 at the end of the first quarter.
After a three pointer record of 9 from 14, Saras Jasikevicius' team went in at half some 15 points at 55-40.
No let up
A three pointer from Kalinic at the start of the second half was a good omen for the visitors. The blaugranes did not allow Valencia back into the game and after the third period their lead stood at 77-60.
In the final minutes Valencia fought back a little but Saras' team held firm to close out a 92-80 win to retain top spot in the Endesa League.
