Rokas Jokubaitis has been chosen by the Euroleague as the best young player in the competition, the Lithuanian receiving the 'Rising Star' award after averaging 7.2 points, 2.8 assists and 17 minutes in his 35 games in the competition.
Jokubaitis' best game in the competition this season came against his former team, Zalgiris Kaunas, at the Palau Blaugrana when he scored 15 points and provided 7 assists.
With regards to valuation, his best game came in his European debut at the Palau against Alba Berlin with 12 points and a rating of 21.
The first blaugrana to win the award was Ricky Rubio in the 2009/10 season, the campaign in which Barça claimed their second Euroleague title. Álex Abrines was also named best young player in the competition in 2015/16.
Another current member of the squad, Nikola Mirotic, also received the award two seasons in a row in 2011 and 2012 when he was at Real Madrid.
