Oriola, Mirotic and Higgins to captain side in 2021/22

The captains of the Barça basketball team for the 2021/22 season have been confirmed. Pierre Oriola remains as first team captain, a status he acquired when Saras took over as head coach last season. Nikola Mirotic is the new second captain after the departure of Adam Hanga, while Cory Higgins, now in his third year at the club, takes the number three role.

Super Cup on the way

The team have continued preparations for the Endesa Super Cup being played this coming week in Tenerife. Barça start with a semi-final on Saturday against Valencia Basket at 7.00pm CEST, while the other semi starts at 10.00pm CERST and pits host club Lenovo against Real Madrid.
