Pesic's team come from behind to win thanks an explosive last five minutes

A hard fought win in a tight battle with Barça Lassa's patience paying off in the Copa del Rey quarter final. The 86-79 win gives them a semi final against Iberostar Tenerife on Saturday thanks to Svetislav Petic's team having a cool head as they came back from 10 points down to turn the game around with Thomas Huertel scoring 17 points.

In the first period a Will Thomas inspired Valencia took an 11 point lead at 13-24 in the opening 10 minutes. However, in the second half Barça Lassa improved on offense and a three pointer from Pau Ribas cut the deficit to 22-26. After a deserved tribute to Juan Carlos Navarro at half time, Valencia continued to score from the three point line but Barça Lassa also held their own to level things up at 58-58 on 30 minutes.
