Espai Barça presented to members from Barcelona

The first vice-president Jordi Cardoner and the director Oriol Tomàs explain the details of the winning proposals for the New Camp Nou, the New Palau Blaugrana, and the New Miniestadi in the Auditorium 1899

The Espai Barça exhibition continues to attract the attention of the Club's members as it makes its way through different towns in Catalonia. Having gone through Girona, Lleida, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Sant Cugat and Tarragona, the exhibition is now being brought to members residing in Barcelona over a pair of sessions held in the Auditorium 1899, located next to Camp Nou in the city's Les Corts district.

The first was held on Saturday, when the Club's First Vice President, Jordi Cardoner, and the Director, Oriol Tomas, were on hand to explain in detail the main characteristics of the winning proposals that were chosen — as part of an international competition — for the New Camp Nou, the New Palau, and the New Miniestadi, the latter of which will be built at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper in Sant Joan Despí.

After the presentation, Mr. Cardoner and Mr. Tomàs held a question and answer session for members in attendance.

With the Espai Barça presentation being held in the Auditorium 1899, just a few steps from the Paris Room — where the permanent exhibition is on display — members have been given a great opportunity to see the original models and the full exhibit.

The second presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, 21 June, and will also be held in the Auditorium 1899. On Wednesday the traveling exhibition moves to Badalona.
