A confident Barça B will face off against Hércules at the Miniestadi tomorrow (21:00, GolT and Canal + Liga). Last weekend’s defeat at the Riazor (2-1) hasn’t relegated Barça’s winning streak at home to obscurity. “The team is doing well, excited. We’re confident,” said Eusebio Sacristán this Thursday, “we’re going into this match with the security of knowing that we’re working well.”

Dos Santos and Muniesa, absent

Eusebio will be without two heavyweights, Dos Santos and Muniesa, for tomorrow’s match. The first was given marching orders at the Riazor last weekend and he’s suspended for this match, the defender is struggling with injury. “It’s a shame that we can’t use him, but we have other players in that position that can get the job done,” said Sacristán on the midfielder.

Gustavo Ledes has started working with the group but he won’t be match-fit for the game on Friday, while Tello is still working with the first team.

“The Club is pleased with my work”

Sacristán also talked about his future with Barça B: “We have a contractual agreement that hasn’t changed. However, the Club is pleased with my work and I’m pleased with my work with the team.”
