The FC Barcelona Museum and the Barça Store Camp Nou obtain the 'Safe Tourism Certified' seal for sanitary excellence

This certification guarantees that the club's facilities comply with the Covid-19 Tourism Sector Risk Prevention System and that they are safe spaces for visitors

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the FC Barcelona Museum is working tirelessly to guarantee a series of sanitary measures, with the aim of being a safe place for its visitors and remaining a 'Covid Free' space. This effort, which the club has carried out by following the Clean and Safe Spaces protocols, has been officially certified with the ‘Safe Tourism Certified’ seal from the Spanish Tourist Quality Institute (ICTE). The award recognises the good work carried out by FC Barcelona in terms of health regulations and represents a boost of confidence for people who, despite these changing times, want to continue enjoying leisure and entertainment safely. The seal has been awarded to both the Museum and the Barça Store Camp Nou, the place where the Museum route ends.

‘Safe Tourism Certified’ is a seal that is awarded to tourism service providers to display as a guarantee of the implementation of a health risk prevention system against Covid-19. This seal assures that the tourist attractions that hold it follow the security protocols approved by the relevant authorities, depending on the subsector to which they belong (museums, hotels, restaurant services, travel agencies, etc.).

The certification is granted by the ICTE after an audit, which in the case of FC Barcelona was prepared by Bureau Veritas. ICTE is a non-profit organization that aims to disseminate the quality systems of tourism companies. It is also known for being the driving force behind the Q Quality Tourism Standard, a certificate of reliability, rigor and excellence in tourism products.
