Census 2012/13

October 22 - The Census 2012/13 regularization process, which seeks to update the information of FC Barcelona members, kicked off this Monday morning. This process will allow the Club to obtain an accurate overview of the Club’s social mass. The process will remain open through October 31 of 2013 and, in accordance with the Club’s statutes, will allow the Club to verify its members’ personal information to optimize future communication. The last census took place in the 2003/04 season.

Segmenting the FC Barcelona members

All members are called to review and verify their personal that was given to the Club. In order to complete this update, the Club has segmented its members by place of residence and age. Members under the age of 75 that reside in Catalonia, 82% of Barça members, have already started to receive correspondence with a time and date to appear at the Census Office, a new office dedicated exclusively to the 2012 Census - it’s located adjacent to the OAB Office. On Liga or Champions League match days at the Camp Nou, members will also have the chance to update their information at three stands set up for the occasion - one will be located on the esplanade of the Camp Nou, another at Gol Norte and the last one at Gol Sur. To make the process easier, members are asked to download and fill out the online form before coming to the Census Office. It will be necessary to bring proper identification - DNI or passport - in addition to the completed online form. If a member is underage, the Libro de Familia will also be necessary.

Members over the age of 75 that reside in Catalonia will have to chance to update their information from home. This option is also open to members that have mobility issues. Finally, members that reside outside of Catalonia - a total of 18,785 - can download the online form from FC Barcelona’s website. It’s imperative that your signature is notarized in accordance with your country of residence’s laws - for example, Spanish consulates or embassies provide this service. This kind of validation is simple and is not expensive.
