The Blaugranes are through to the Copa de Lloret final (1-3). Barça Lassa managed to defeat Reus Deportiu in a game which they dominated both in attack and defence. Pablo Álvarez, who scored twice, and Sergio Fernández, who had a great performance in goal, were the standout players, whilst Pau Bargalló sealed the passage to the fourth consecutive Cup final.

In an electric atmosphere, only Barça Lassa were able to sustain and even intensify the attacking danger until the end of the first half. The first goal, from Álvarez, didn’t arrive until just before the break but he quickly added another in the second half. Reus Deportiu were finding it tough against a well-drilled Barça defence but they did manage to reduce the deficit against the run of play.

Excitement to the end

The excitement continued as Reus Deportiu looked for an equaliser, but Pau Bargalló settled the nerves once more. Fernández, the Barça goalkeeper, was in super form and ensured that no further goals were scored, thus ensuring that the Blaugrana were Copa del Rey finalists once more.
