FC Barcelona Lassa dealt handsomely with their first ever trip to French club Mérignac in the European League. Ricard Muñoz’s side made it two wins out of two in their group thanks to a serious, clinical showing. Pau Bargalló was the man of the moment with a hat-trick, with Xavi Barroso, Pablo Álvarez and Marc Gual providing the other goals on an unusual cement surface with no barriers behind the goals.

But none of that bothered them and the six-point haul leaves the Catalans well poised at the top of Group B. Next up is an OK Liga trip to CP Vilafranca on Friday.
