Wael Jallouz contributed five goals in the second half | VÍCTOR SALGADO - FCB

Barça Lassa retain their 100% record with a win in the 13th round of matches in the Asobal League. Xavi Pascual’s team ran out 29-35 winners over Puente Genil in a game in which the home side were in the game until the end of the first half. Lazarov with six and Jallouz with five led the scoring to give the blaugranes their 104th consecutive victory.

Barça began the encounter focused and went ahead early on. However, the team from Córdoba did not allow the visitors to get away from them and at the end of the first half the blaugranes led by just two at 8-10.

Counter attacks which led to goals from Sorhaindo and Saubich gave Barça a bit of breathing space in the 22nd minute at 10-15. Puente Genil pegged Barça back to 13-15 but the blaugranes were able to stretch their advantage before half time to 15-19.

Jallouz takes control

The home side continued to attempt to take the game to Barça with Josic and Rudovic cutting the deficit. Nevertheless, Jallouz took the reins for the visitors and two strikes left Barça with a seven goal lead at 19-26. Puente mounted yet another comeback but five goals from Jallouz after the break allowed Xavi Pascual’s team to maintain their advantage with Dika Mem appearing near the end to add his name to the list of goalscorers. With victory 104 in the bag, Barça remain unstoppable in the Asobal League.
