Aicardo, salvant un gol del conjunt gallec / SANTIAGO FUTSAL

Great comeback from a FC Barcelona Lassa futsal side suffering from a plague of injuries and from the league break caused by the recent European Championships. The game was not decided until the second half when Tolrà with a hat trick and Batería with two goals turned around a 3-1 deficit for Marc Carmona’s team.

The first goal of the game came from a Barça player, albeit one on loan from the blaugranes to Santiago. Diego Quintela’s strike was soon leveled by an effort from Tolrà, a great finish past keeper Marcos Vara.
The equaliser seemed to galvanise the home side and quick strikes from Catela and Iván Rumbo gave the Galicians a 3-1 lead.

With Santiago committing their fifth foul, they were made to pay as Aicardo made it 3-2. Dyego could have leveled things up just before the break but his shot came back off the woodwork.

In the second half the quality of the visitors began to shine through. Marc Tolrà made it 3-3 after 23 minutes and seven minutes later Bateria appeared once again to turn the score in Barça’s favour. The number 10 scored another before assisting Tolrà for his hat trick to make 6-3 to the Catalans. Dyego added another before the home side found a late consolation to see the final score 7-4 to FC Barcelona come the final hooter.
