Barça lose first leg of Cup semi-final

Barça will need to pull back two goals against Inter Movistar in the second leg of the Spanish Cup semi-final at the Palau after they lost their first ever game in the competition, 4-2 in Alcalá de Henares on Wednesday night.

Despite missing Cristian, Bateria and Ari Santos, Barça opened the scoring through Saad on 8 minutes, but the hosts drew level through Lolo on 17 minutes after Wilde had rattled the woodwork .

Two goals inside 10 seconds from Pazos and Cardinal gave Inter a two goal lead on 24 minutes, before Lozano quickly reduced the deficit by rounding off a quick counter.

With Barça pushing for an equaliser and Inter pressing to finish the game off, it was end to end stuff now and although Paco Sedano was on top form, Cardinal hit the fourth for Inter who will go into the return game next month with a two goal advantage.
