Barça Lassa secure an important win away to San Pablo Burgos thanks to a last second Edwin Jackson basket with 17 seconds left on the clock. Both teams showed their competitiveness in the game and Heurtel led Barça with a fantastic performance making him the MVP with 26 points and 13 assists.

The defences were on top in the opening minutes but the blaugranas did well and they ended the first quarter with a score of 20-9 in their favour.

In the final ten minutes, Heurtel took control of his team but the home side responded well whenever he tried to reduce their advantage. A Javi Vega three pointer extended their lead to 9 points (81-72). Jenkins then gave them a margin of ten points. Pesic’s side were able to respond and they imposed themselves on the game thanks to Barça’s number ‘13’ Heurtel and a final few minutes in which they clawed back a twelve-point disadvantage to make it 89-89 at the end.

Jackson wins it

Pesic’s players started extra time by scoring seven unanswered points by the 43rd minute. The home team didn’t give up though and they stayed in the game. Nerves became a factor for both sides but a Jackson basket with 17 seconds to go secured a hard-fought victory for the blaugranas.
