In FC Barcelona Lassa's first really tough test in Euroleague play, the team responded impressively, running and gunning their way to a 25-point victory over Panathinaikos at the Palau Blaugrana. The defense was instrumental in handing Barça their second win in three Euroleague games.

Justin Doellman led the way for Barça with 13 points on 5 for 8 shooting while also pulling down 6 rebounds to go with 3 steals and an assist.

But Doellman wasn't the only scoring threat for the Catalans. Three other players — Alex Abrines, Stratos Perperoglou and Ante Tomic — all scored 11 points.

Abrines and Perperoglou were the evening's deep threats, both going 3 for 6 from behind the 3-point line while Tomic stood tall in the paint as well, pulling down 7 rebounds, 4 of them coming on the offensive glass.

Samardo Samuels led Barça with 9 rebounds, tied for game-high.

James Gist led Panathinaikos with 13 points, while James Feldeine chipped in with 10.

With the win, FC Barcelona Lassa are now 2–1 and in second place in Group C of the Euroleague. Panathinaikos drop to 1–2 and are now in fifth place in the group.
