FC Barcelona couldn't win at Gran Canaria despite having led almost the entire game. While only shooting 24% from beyond the arc for the game, a tepid fourth quarter doomed the Catalans and let the win slip away. Despite the loss, Barça are still in third place in the league behind Málaga and Real Madrid.

Barça played well in the first half thanks to Justin Doellman, who dropped in eight points and clutched four rebounds before the break. Nevertheless, foul trouble put Gran Canaria into the bonus early, where they were able to keep the Catalans from extending their lead by stepping to the free throw line no less than 12 times.

Doellman and Mario Hezonja nailed threes in the third quarter as Barça held a 57–53 lead heading into the final frame. But the hosts went on a 10–0 run in the fourth quarter, and were lethal from downtown, while the blaugranes struggled just to put the ball in the basket.
