Navarro overcame his physical problems and Caja Laboral’s tough defence to set another record in basketball history on Thursday night. His 11 points at the Fernando Buesa Arena took him to a total of 3,005 points in his Euroleague career to become the first ever player to pass 3,000 points in the competition.
The clock was at 4:49 in the first quarter when Navarro bagged his second three pointer of the night to set the fantastic European record which he seems bound to improve on with each game.
King of the three pointers
Navarro’s record breaking didn’t stop there either: his third three-pointer took him level with the record holder Gianluca Basile on 421 in the competition, with the ex-Barça man set to lose his top spot completely as Navarro continues to bang in the points this season.
