Another amazing season comes to an end. Luis Enrique and his team have won another double and made Barça fans happy all around the world, and that of course includes everyone involved in the penyes movement.

Whether at home or away, the penyes, with their flags and banners, have made their presence felt at the Camp Nou and one the road, where their dedication to the team’s cause has been made patent with every passing week.

Exemplary display in Madrid

The movement organised more than 40 coaches from different parts of the territory to Madrid, scene of the Copa del Rey Final at the Calderón against Sevilla. More than 1,000 supporters clubs travelled to the Spanish capital, with about 3,000 members in total. Fair play reigned among the supporters of both sides in a show of exceptionally good behaviour from all concerned.

The penyes movement made their voices heard, supporting Luis Enrique and his team all the way, even when playing in the face of adversity, a goal and a man down at the end of the first half. Goals from Jordi Alba and normal time and from Neymar in overtime were the culmination of day to remember as Barça extended their record haul of Spanish cups to 28 and completed a second successive double.
