Barça and the Supporters Clubs keep teaming up

The weekend gone by saw another victory for both the first team and the Supporters Clubs

As well as the commemorative act in support of Rare Disease Day 2016, February 27 and 28 saw the Supporters Clubs once again enjoy a successful weekend with their respective members.

On Saturday, some 65 children from the Agrupació de Clubs i Penyes del FC Barcelona took part in a training day, also directed to the parents, organized by FC Barcelona and included within the Fem Valors Socials project. This was presented in the Auditori 1899 by director Xavier Ilincheta, former player Paco Clos and FCB Escola tutor Quim Estrada.

The children from the Escola de Futbol Prat Blaugrana and of the Penya Barcelonista Sant Celoni enjoyed a session with coaches from the FCB Escola on the pitches adjacent to the Miniestadi.

On Sunday, ahead of the league match between FC Barcelona and Sevilla, some 20 members of the Peña Barcelonista de Atarfe came to the stadium to present a banner marking their 25th anniversary which is celebrated on 15 May in Granada. The honours were carried out by the director of the Supporters Club Commission Xavier Ilincheta and the president of the Supporters Club, Miguel Lamolda. The same director then attended the inauguration of the shield of the Peña Barcelonista Cúllar, accompanied by its president, Agustín Gómez. The emblem was revealed in front of more than 40 members at Gate 92 of the Camp Nou.

The weekend was rounded off with a 2-1 win for Barça over Sevilla which restores the team’s eight-point advantage at the top of the table and increases their unbeaten run to 34 games.
