Krohn-Dehli training with Sevilla / SEVILLA FC

There is at least one player at Sevilla who knows Barça boss Luis Enrique well. That man is Michael Krohn-Deli , the Andalusian club's first signing of the summer, who played under the Asturian during his season with Celta Vigo. Fcbarcelona.com spoke to the Danish international ahead of his new club's clash with the blaugranes in Tuesday's European Super Cup and he shared his thoughts about the game in Tbilisi and his season with the blaugrana boss in Galicia.

How are you finding your first few weeks as a Sevilla player?

"Everything is going well. I have hardly been in Seville because we are doing a lot travelling. We are working hard, getting ready for the start of the season."

With eight new signings, is the Super Cup coming a little early for Sevilla?

"Maybe yes, maybe no. We will find out after the game. It's true that with so many new players we need a bit of time to adapt and get to know each other. In any case, we are ready to go out and play well and we want to win."

Do you think Barça are favourites?

"Yes, I think so. They have won the league, the Cup and the Champions League. However, last season as a Celta player I was able to win at Camp Nou. In a game you always have a chance."

In Tibilisi you will see Luis Enrique again. What is he like as a coach?

"He was my coach for a year and I have only good things to say about him. He has an idea about how he wants to play football, he is honest, a good communicator and as he was a player he knows how players think."

What did he bring to the club?

"I have had a lot of coaches during my time as a player and Luis Enrique is one of those that I have learned most from. Each coach asks different things of you, but I like the kind of football that he tries to play."

What is the view of Barça from the outside?

"It's a big club. When I was in Denmark I could tell that is was something big, but once you come to the Spanish League is when you really realise. Also, they have a really good team and they always control the game."

As you said, you beat Barça last season with Celta. How do you stop them?

"We tried to play our game, not thinking about our opponents. We always try to impose our style on the game, even though against teams like Barça it is always more difficult. To beat Barça you have to work very hard and have a bit of luck."

What do you think of their front three?

"I think that their record speaks for itself. Last season they scored a lot of goals. They are great players and very dangerous."

Last question. In Denmark is there a lot of support for Barça?

"Perhaps in Denmark there is more interest in the Premier League than in La Liga. In any case, it is true that Michael Laudrup's time at Barça means a lot of people followed FC Barcelona. I can't be completely sure but I would say that there were more Barça fans than Madrid fans."

Draw for Sevilla in friendly with AEK Athens (1-1)

Michael Krohn-Deli played the entire second half on Saturday in his side's final pre-season game before the European Super Cup against Barça. Unai Emery's outfit fell behind to an early goal from AEK's Aravidis in the fixture which was played in Athens. However, a goal also in the first half from veteran Reyes helped Sevilla avoid defeat before their date with the blaugranes in Georgia.
