The Treble winners are back, and so is football at Camp Nou. As tradition dictates, FC Barcelona's first team were presented to the fans minutes prior to Wednesday's 50th Joan Gamper Trophy. The fans took part in the festivities by using their mobile phone lights to create a dazzling effect before the ceremony segued into a spectacular show of fireworks.

First came the coaching staff, including Robert Moreno, Luis Enrique and Juan Carlos Unzué, to a loud ovation, and were followed by the players — Ter Stegen, Douglas, Piqué, Rakitic, Dani Alves, Pedro, Luis Suárez, Neymar, Rafinha, Bravo, Bartra, Sandro, Munir, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, Vermaelen, Mathieu and Masip. Newcomers Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan were also presented. The last to come out were the four captains — Mascherano, Sergio, Messi (who received the loudest applause) and Andrés Iniesta.

Luis Enrique and Iniesta speak

Iniesta, taking over as first captain after the exit of Xavi Hernández at the end of last season, spoke first: "It is an honour to be the captain of the team. We welcome Arda and Aleix. We have many challenges this season. We will do the possible and the impossible. With your help we will continue making history. Visca el Barça and Visca Catalonia!" exclaimed Iniesta before handing the microphone to his coach.

"Thank you all for being here. How beautiful it is to hear you cry out, especially the names of the players," said Luis Enrique to a standing ovation. "Last season was unique, spectacular and now the challenge is to generate enthusiasm, enjoy good football, and celebrate more titles,” he concluded, just ten minutes before kick off.
