Ivan Rakitic, in Saturday's game at Sevilla / MIGUEL RUIZ-FCB

Following FC Barcelona’s 2–1 defeat at the hands of Sevilla on Saturday afternoon, there were plenty of questions awaiting the players. But while one might expect words of regret or anger, Luis Enrique’s players made it clear that they are going to keep their feet on the ground and continue to work hard to turn things around. While the loss at Sevilla certainly hurts, there’s a lot of football left to be played. And if there’s one team that knows about how to handle the highs and lows that are unavoidable during a 38-game league season, this team of champions is it. Here are the highlights of what some of the players had to say after the game:

Ivan Rakitic

"It hurts to lose like that; we had a lot of chances."

"We have to pick ourselves up, every team has their lows."

"We've won everything and it's normal that everyone goes hard against [us]."

Sergio Busquets

"Chances we have, what we need is to be on target. We all have to put a little more into it."

"The schedule is what it is. We were unlucky but we have to play all the games anyway."

"Obviously we're coming off a year in which we won everything. It's normal that people want another team to win."

Luis Suarez

"We had chances to win the game. But it's not the end of the world, either."

"Obviously we're the best team in the world, but the players are experienced and nobody in particular has to take the blame, just like when we won everything, it was as a group."

"In these games mistakes end up haunting you, which is what everyone saw."
