FC Barcelona clinched their third Club World Cup on Sunday, and the three best players of the tournament were from the Catalan team.

Barça beat Guangzhou Evergrande in the semi-final and River Plate in the final, both by 3-0 scorelines, with Luis Suárez scoring all three in the first game and two.

The Uruguayan striker has been in superb form for the team this season, scoring 24 times in as many games and his performances in Japan made him the undisputed player of the tournament, receiving the Golden Ball prize at the end of the game against River.

After missing the semi-final, Leo Messi returned to star in the final with a goal to open the scoring as well as playing a major part in the other two goals to claim the Silver Ball prize. When it comes to the big games, Messi never fails. The Argentine superstar has scored 23 goals in 27 finals for Barça, including the winner in the same competition in 2009 and two in the 2011 final.

Third on the podium was Andres Iniesta, who earned the Bronze Ball for two majestic performances in midfield, providing balance and rhythm to the side en route to the title.
