FC Barcelona are in Madrid ready for the Copa del Rey final this evening at 9.30pm CET. With absolutely no injuries and with the Liga trophy already secured, Luis Enrique is heading to the Spanish capital city with all 24 members of his squad. The objective … a second domestic double in a row.

The plane left Barcelona airport at 11.ooam local time and arrived at Barajas about an hour later. The players were taken directly to a hotel, where they’ll be getting some rest before heading to the Vicente Calderón in good time for the game with Sevilla.

The playing squad is being accompanied on the trip by president Josep Maria Bartomeu in the company of Jordi Mestre, vice-president for sport; Susana Monje, vice-president for finance; Jordi Moix, director commissioned for Espai Barça; Jordi Monés, director commissioned for FCB Universities, and board members Ramon Pont, Joan Bladé, Javier Bordas, Silvio Elías, Dídac Lee, Josep Ramon Vidal-Abarca, Jordi Calsamiglia, Maria Teixidor, Enric Tombas, Emili Rousaud, Oriol Tomàs and Xavier Vilajoana. Vice-presidents Jordi Cardoner and Carles Vilarrubí, and board member Pau Vilanova travelled to Madrid of their own account.

Nacho Mestre, FCB Director General; Albert Soler, Director of Professional Sports; Robert Fernández, first team Technical Secretary and Raúl Sanllehí, Director of Futbol have also made the trip.
