  • The goalless draw at Villanovense spells the end of a 35-game Copa del Rey streak that saw FC Barcelona score at least one goal. The last time Barça were shut out was in the 2011 Final against Real Madrid.
  • The duel in Villanueva de la Serena marked the official first team debuts of Wilfrid Kaptoum, who started, and Aitor Cantalapiedra, who played the final 30 minutes. They became the 8th and 9th Barça B players to debut under Luis Enrique.

  • The Municipal Ramiro Cuerda became the fourth stadium in Extremadura that FC Barcelona has visited in its history. Barça had previously played in the stadiums of Don Benito (1930/31), Mérida (the 1990s) and at CF Extremadura.
