FC Barcelona beat Almería on Saturday 2-1 thanks to goals from Neymar and Jordi Alba, who became the ninth different player to score for Barça this season in La Liga. With that in mind let's take a quick look at some other interesting facts and figures surrounding the victory.

  • Jordi Alba got his first goal and joins a list led by Neymar (12 goals), followed by Messi (11), Sandro (3), Rakitic (2), Xavi, Pedro, Piqué and Munir (1 each). Together they have 33 goals between La Liga and the Champions League.
  • Alba's goal at Almeria was Barça's 25th in La Liga this season.
  • It was Alba's 6th career goal for Barça. 4 of them have come in the final 15 minutes of the match.
  • Neymar now has 10 goals in 10 league matches, more than the nine he scored in all of last year's Liga.
  • Marc Bartra led the team in steals (10), followed by Mascherano and Rakitic (9 each).
  • Mascherano led with 95 passes. He completed 85 of them.
  • Rafinha played a full 90 minutes for the first time this season.
  • Messi has started all 15 official matches this season, while Mascherano has started in the last 6. Neymar and Alves did not start on Saturday after having started 11 and 8 games, respectively.
