The Barça squad have had their first encounter with the Olympiastadion in Berlin where on Saturday at 8.45pm CET they will face Juventus in the Champions League final. The blaugranes trained on Friday at the venue for the final following on from the press conferences for Piqué and Neymar and that of Luis Enrique. It is a ground that blaugrana coach Luis Enrique knows well given that he scored there playing for Barça against Hertha Berlin in the Champions League back in the season 1999/00.

The 26 players who have made the trip to Berlin for the final all ventured out on to the field for the training session. The 23 first team players plus Munir, Sandro and Sergi Samper from the B squad all took part, Andrés Iniesta marking his second day back in action with the rest of the group.

In hot and humid conditions in the German capital, the Barça training session took place amongst smiles and general good humour within the squad itself. The watching dozens of media outlets present followed every move of the blaugrana squad ahead of the Club’s eight appearance in the final of the competition.
